Job Location: San Francisco, California – Bay Area Territory

  • The key focus of the role is to work with assigned retailers in your designated market segment and geographic territory, with a concentration on building relationships to develop and grow the Marz Vodka brand and product sales.
  • Develop monthly, weekly and daily written plans for execution.
  • Solid grasp/understanding and use of selling skills, public speaking skills, and the ability to express yourself in an articulate, succinct and professional manner.
  • Feel comfortable and in control of the outcome in a wide-variety of different retail accounts and environments in your designated market.
  • Promote and demonstrate Marz Vodka knowledge within your set geographic region to increase sales among high profile retail accounts.
  • Make regular sales calls to designated accounts to create and build upon customer relations and satisfaction with service provided.
  • Establish and follow an efficient and economical routing pattern that ensures assigned accounts are effectively serviced and merchandised as needed.
  • Gain knowledge of customer’s business operations and coordinating multiple and diverse options for selling Marz Vodka’s products to each.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the company’s products and knowing in-depth features and benefits of each compared to the competition.
  • Educate and train customers in the use of Marz Vodka product portfolio.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts like discount levels, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Demonstrate consultative sales abilities through successful presentations of product, the promotion of new and existing portfolio items and the expansion of business.
  • Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.
  • Participate in sales meetings and on-site training to remain educated in company policy and industry trends/developments.
  • Educate account staff through preparation and performance of on-site training for restaurant and retail trade.
  • Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts. (i.e. product launches and tastings).
  • Present self with honesty, integrity, professionalism and commitment to the client and Marz Vodka at all times.
  • Work flexible hours which may include early morning (i.e. 4:00 – 6.00 AM start times), evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Overnight travel infrequently required.
  • Additional hours required during the peak season of October, November and December.
  • Perform other work related duties and special projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 1-3 years of industry related sales experience within the distiller, bartending, distribution, hospitality industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of vodka brands and competitive set.
  • Reside within a 60-minute radius of a retail account within your established territory.
  • Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
  • Lift and carry a 50+ pound case of product on a routine basis.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient at calculating revenue, commissions, percentages, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis.
  • Adaptable and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types.
  • Thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
